WebPic is an application used to take a directory of digital cam pictures, and provide a frontend for Web viewing. It allows you to scale the images to different values, add comments, and display them in varying HTML styles. It uses ImageMagick for the image processing, and PerlMagick as the interface. It also requires the use of Tk::JPEG for image display. Please read the included Readme for more information on development and bugs.
white_dune is a graphical VRML97/X3DV editor, simple NURBS/Superformula 3D modeller, animation tool, and VRML97/X3DV commandline compiler in development. VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web via browser plugins ("HTML for realtime 3D"). X3DV is the direct successor of VRML97. VRML97 and X3DV have support for animation, real-time interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can read, create, and display VRML97/X3DV files and let the user change the scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via "quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.
PDFMap is a command line tool and Python library which eases the creation of very high quality maps in PDF format. You can place objects on the maps. Each object can be represented by either a shape or an image, and is scaled and rotated to reflect its original dimensions and orientation. You can make each object clickable in Adobe Acrobat Reader (e.g., to access a Web-enabled application from which you've extracted the data used to create the map).
Kmap is an HTML image map editor that can create circlular, rectangular, polygonal, and ellipsoidal image maps. Regions can be copied, moved, deleted, and have their colors changed in several maps at once. In addition, polygonal points can be added, deleted, and moved. The dimensions of objects may be changed with the help of control points, and the HTML output is configurable.
IsaViz is a visual environment for browsing and authoring Resource Description Framework (RDF) models represented as graphs. It features a 2.5D user interface allowing smooth zooming and navigation in the graph; creation and editing of graphs by drawing ellipses, boxes, and arcs; RDF/XML, Notation 3 and N-Triple export; and also SVG and PNG export.
ASCIIMathML is a script that converts calculator-style ASCII math notation (and many LaTeX formulas) to Presentation MathML while your Web page loads. It works with HTML and XHTML files in Mozilla/Firefox/Netscape 7+ browsers, as well as in Internet Explorer 6 with MathPlayer. For example, the solutions for the equation 'ax^2+bx+c=0' are expressed in the HTML file as '(-b +- sqrt(b^2 - 4ac))/(2a)', and display as nicely formatted MathML. The script can be easily used in wikiservers and blogs, as a rudimentary MathML editor (with instant preview), and to preview math formulas as they are typed into a Web page input area.
Garbure is a collection of dedicated distributions. Each distribution provides carefully selected tools for a specific target domain, and is completed with examples and documentation. The set of distributions forms an entity, but each distribution works also on its own. All elements are arranged in the same way for each distribution.
SVGSlice is a simple tool which generates chopped up images from Inkscape SVG drawings. To figure out where to cut, SVGSlice can use Inkscape's built in guides (for simpler, grid-like cuts), or it can use a specially named "slices" layer that contains rectangles that mark areas to slice. Demo files showing both approaches are included.
