Vanubi is a programming editor highly inspired by Emacs but with a more modern fashion. It aims to be unobtrusive yet smart, simple yet complete with the necessary components built in (monolithic), keyboard based with contextual help, file/directory based (not project based), and fast to open for rapid file editing. It features splitting views, auto indent, sessions, fuzzy search everywhere, git support with side gutter and grep, emacs-like and shell-like key bindings, integration with the shell, and an ad-hoc scripting language.
jupp is a text editor. It is highly configurable and comes, besides the standard WordStar-compatible key bindings known from the DR DOS Editor, Turbo C, and Borland C++, with the configurations known from JOE’s Own Editor, namely joe, jmacs, jpico, jstar, and rjoe. It is a portable, compact full-screen editor with comprehensive online help, full key binding configurability, user-defined macros, extensibility, hooks on file open and save, a hex editor, multiple character sets, visual spaces, syntax highlighting, and much more.
RTextDoc is a text editor with proofreading. It is designed for typesetting professional research papers and manuals using the LaTeX, AsciiDoc, and DocBook markup languages. It includes on-the-fly spelling and grammar checking, syntax highlighting, bracket matching, folding, a document structure browser for sections and labels, bookmarks, a manager for LaTeX symbols, WYSIWYG equation editor, and integrated BibTex database manager.
GenScriber is a transcription editor for census records, church records, birth, marriage ,baptisms, burials, index records, etc. Data can be entered in a spreadsheet grid, or a word processor text editor. Both types of input provide stable, non-volatile editors, designed for genealogical data input. All cell inputs are alphanumeric. No assumptions are made about the data type. Dates and values remain exactly as you entered them. The worksheet and text pad work independently. They can be used to edit different data by switching between the tabs. It is of course possibly to copy/paste data between the editors.
