Sculptor is a productivity tool that applies the concepts from Domain-Driven Design and Domain Specific Languages. You express your design intent in a textual specification, from which Sculptor generates high quality Java code and configuration. You can use the concepts from Domain-Driven Design (DDD) in the textual Domain Specific Language (DSL), e.g. Service, Module, Entity, Value Object, Repository. The generated code is based on well-known frameworks such as Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Java EE. Sculptor takes care of the technical details and the tedious repetitive work, and lets you focus on delivering more business value (and have more fun). The DSL and the code generation drives the development and is not a one time shot. The application can be developed incrementally with an efficient round trip loop. Sculptor is useful when developing typical enterprise or Web applications that benefit from a rich and persistent domain model.
Acceleo is a code generator designed to efficiently implement the MDA approach (Model Driven Architecture) and to improve software development productivity. It is natively integrated with Eclipse and EMF. It includes tools and editors making it easy to learn and to adapt to any kind of project or technology. It provides incremental generation, meta-model interoperability, simple and extensible syntax, template driven customization, and more.
InstaSearch is an Eclipse IDE plug-in for performing quick and advanced searches of source code files. It uses the Apache Lucene library for indexing and fast searching of files in the workspace. The search is performed instantly as you type, and resulting files are displayed in an Eclipse view. Each file then can be previewed using a few of the most closely matching and relevant lines. A double-click on the match leads to the matching line in the file.
Components 4 Java is a development tool for Java. It provides a framework to organize and separate different parts of code, and fills the gap between the class level and the library level as provided by the Java SE architecture. Additionally, you can organize your classes in well-separated and loosely coupled components. Those can be stuck together graphically into larger compositions. Finally, components and compositions will be distributed among Java archives as specified in assemblies.
The DVT (Design and Verification Tools) is an Eclipse-based integrated development environment for the e and SystemVerilog verification languages. It is modern and powerful, yet easy to use. It helps design and verification engineers who are not satisfied with the limitations of plain text editors to easily read, write, and understand complex source code. The DVT enables efficient code writing and simplifies the maintenance of reusable libraries and legacy code. It comprises a complete suite of tools and integrates with all major simulators, revision control systems, and bug tracking engines.
Databene Benclipse is an Eclipse plugin that integrates Databene Benerator with Eclipse. Benerator's purpose is to generate mass test data for performance testing that satisfies even complex validity constraints. Benclipse greatly simplifies especially the first steps in test data generation and speeds up test data definition even more by providing a project wizard with a series of templates to start with, a set of bundled JDBC drivers, a sophisticated JDBC configuration wizard, a database snapshot facility for creating database dumps in DbUnit format, and a built-in HSQL database for trying the first steps.
