Pigalle (PIcture GALLEry) is a slick Web based photo album written in PHP 5. It makes it easy to create and maintain photo albums via an intuitive interface, as users need only upload their files to a server and let the program generate thumbnails for them. Visitors can choose their preferred image resolution and images will be generated on the fly. These generated images are cached and all meta-information such as album descriptions, image information, and user settings are stored in a database. A back-end administration interface helps to manage the files, edit the descriptions, and so on, making it very easy and convenient.
Webcockpit is a Web application generator for reporting and monitoring applications. It generates complete JSP-based Web applications which contain charts and tables whose contents are retrieved using database queries. The charts and tables can be configured to link to each other, enabling master detail-like drill-down. You can provide your own HTML or JSP template files which are mixed with the generated JSP to provide a final Web application.
jsgal is a dynamic Web-based gallery. However, rather than generating the gallery pages on a server using scripts, it is implemented in Javascript and DHTML and generates the pages in the client's browser. No offline generation of the Web pages is required; only a list of images has to be maintained, which allows easy updating and extending of galleries. This allows you to host dynamic galleries on servers without scripting support, or on local filesystems (e.g. CD-ROMs).
UNG (UNG’s Not Gallery) is an image gallery script for control freaks, tweakers, and other power users. It browses subdirectories (uploaded manually via FTP, SCP, or another protocol) of a specified location and creates a hierarchy of categories and pictures. It automatically creates thumbnails for images that don’t have them already and has an optional comment system so people can discuss posted pictures.
Ochiba is a Web-based image gallery that is a hybrid of traditional "photo album" software such as Gallery or Coppermine and "image board" software, such as futaba, futallaby, and wakaba. It also borrows concepts found in gmail and iPhoto to provide flexible, keyword/tag based filtering of displayed images, which can be used to create on-the-fly "virtual" albums. Its other features include XHTML/CSS compliance, RSS feeds for image categories, post throttling, IP banning, caching, visual image-based post verification for spam prevention (CAPTCHA), and zip file handling (for multiple images in one upload).
