RTK (Ruckus Tool Kit) is a high-performance, Perl-based, dynamic, content-generation system. It provides a nearly transparent bridge between HTML-based code pages and traditional CGI-based systems. It has been designed to automatically take advantage of existing systems, such as basic CGI, Apache's mod_perl, FastCGI, and SpeedyCGI, but does not require such systems for high-performance optimization.
Webtunnel is a network utility that encapsulates arbitrary data in HTTP and transmits it through a Web server. In that regard, it is similar to httptunnel. However, its server component runs in the context of a Web server as a CGI application (with optional FastCGI support), so it does not need its own port. It supports most things that the Web server supports, such as authentication, HTTP 1.1, HTTPS, and client certificates. It uses simple requests and responses so it works seamlessly through forward and reverse proxies.
SWEC is a program that automates testing of dynamic Web sites. It parses each HTML file it finds for links, and if those links are within the site specified, it will check that page as well. In addition to parsing and locating links, it will also parse the pages looking for known errors and report those. It will report if a page cannot be read (by either returning a 404, 500, or similar).
CGI::ContactForm is a Perl module that generates a contact form for the Web and sends a message to a predestinated recipient. Unlike many form-to-mail programs, it's limited to this single purpose, but it allows you to set up a decently designed form with a minimum of effort. In other words, it's simple to use rather than flexible, even if there are quite a few customization possibilities.
Zero RRD Framework provides a central HTTP-based service for importing into standard RRD databases and for generating graphs. A lightweight, easily extendable agent for the data sources pushes updates with minimal resource consumption to the master service using HTTP. With the introduction of VMs for the service, it's easy to test-drive the application and even the architecture (connecting agents to the service in the VM).
Catalyst::Authentication::Store::DBI is a Perl module that implements the Catalyst::Authentication API using Catalyst::Model::DBI. It uses DBI to allow applications to authenticate users against a database and it provides support for roles with Catalyst::Plugin::Authorization::Roles.
