Foswiki is wiki software, supporting the editing of Web pages in an ordinary Web browser by end users. What makes Foswiki special is that it supports the embedding of active and passive macros that enhance the page content (e.g. with global or dynamic information) and allow end-users to build applications that store and process data in a structured manner.
Python Audio Tools is a collection of audio handling programs that work from the command line. These include programs for CD extraction, track conversion from one audio format to another, track renaming and retagging, track identification, CD burning from tracks, and more. It supports internationalized track filenames and metadata using Unicode. It works with high-definition, multi-channel audio as well as CD-quality. Track conversion uses multiple CPUs or CPU cores if available to greatly speed the transcoding process. Track metadata can be retrieved from MusicBrainz, FreeDB, or compatible servers. Audio formats supported are WAV, FLAC, WavPack, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, M4A, Apple Lossless, and more.
The Big Faceless Report Generator is a Java application for converting source documents written in XML to PDF. Built on top of the Big Faceless PDF & Graph Libraries, the Report Generator combines these features and wraps an XML parser around them. Using JSP, ASP, XSL, or similar, creating dynamic PDF documents directly from a database is now as easy as HTML.
EFEU is suitable for handling data cubes, which are especially useful for building data warehouses. It consists of a building system including mkmf (a xmkmf like Makefile generator), esh (a powerful C/C++ interpreter), efeudoc (a document generator with different output formats (LaTeX, HTML, roff, etc.)). EFEU has a huge set of C library core features, including robust memory allocation tools, functions to concatenate and copy strings with memory allocation, buffers for dynamically-growing strings and fields, data structures with reference counters and garbage collection, and file tools that allow you to specify pipes wherever a filename is expected and support automatic implementation of (de)compression filters (gzip) depending on filename extensions. Data::Locations is a virtual file manager which allows you to write and read data (text and binary) to and from virtual files (think of bubbles). Moreover, this manager allows you to (recursively) define "magic" insertion points in these virtual files (bubbles inside other bubbles) which can be filled in (inflated) later (through a "straw", i.e., the object's reference), at any convenient time and in any order you like. Since this software acts purely in memory, there is no slowing down through costly file input/output (i.e., no temporary files).
