EZ Reusable Objects (EZRO) is a Web application that can be used by non-technical staff to manage content as "objects." Content objects containing text, video, and audio can be shared, modified, and re-styled to appear via a traditional Web site, an on-line course, an innovative "Coach," or as a community of interest site. It is highly scalable and can be used for public Web sites, secure environments, and private intra/extranets.
The Photomaniac Media Library is a media management solution for digital photographers who have to manage large amounts of digital media. Its strength is its native support for RAW images, version control, team functionality, speed, cross-platform compatibility, and cost efficiency.
PIVIAU is a PHP/MySQL Web based gallery for pictures, videos, and audio that supports tags and EXIF. Albums and pictures have searchable tag, country, city, place, date, subject, and author. An RSS feed is available for every seach you can do, or for recent pictures. There is an AJAX-powered slideshow. Pictures are resized using PHP GD image functions. Videos are viewable a la Google Video using a video flash player. Audio (WAV and MP3) is supported via the embed HTML tag. EXIF is supported via PHP exif functions to extract the picture date.
UNG (UNG’s Not Gallery) is an image gallery script for control freaks, tweakers, and other power users. It browses subdirectories (uploaded manually via FTP, SCP, or another protocol) of a specified location and creates a hierarchy of categories and pictures. It automatically creates thumbnails for images that don’t have them already and has an optional comment system so people can discuss posted pictures.
The metric implemented in the Image::Density Perl Module estimates the density of data where there is data, and has a reasonable correlation with goodness as judged by humans. That is, if you let a human look at a set of images and judge quality, the density values for those images as calculated here tend to correlate well with the human judgement (densities that are too high or too low represent "bad'' images). It is intended for use on bitonal TIFF images, such as those from scanning paper documents.
image_album generates HTML on-the-fly for the navigation of albums of related images. It supports several different viewing modes appropriate for different display sizes and connection speeds, and allows the viewing of additional image info such as EXIF data. It uses CGI PATH_INFO-style URLs (with no '?' characters) for spiderability by all search engines.
Vulpive is webcomic archive software with all of the common features of other online comics, plus some fairly novel ones. Comics can be uploaded for particular dates in advance, and will appear at midnight. There is a separate "calendar view" where comics can be browsed by thumbnail. Three different layout modes are available. Commentary for individual comics is supported. Plot arcs can be organized into chapters. It is easily skinnable by anyone with basic HTML or CSS experience. An automatic RSS feed is provided.
