It has a simple but powerful syntax which makes sure the datafiles remain readable outside the Wiki, and eases the creation of structured texts. All data is stored in plain text files, so no database is needed
Plone is a content management system that is simple to set up, maintain, and modify. It is designed to be a corporate-ready content management system. It is ideal as an intranet and extranet server, as a document/Web publishing system, and as a groupware tool for collaboration between separately located entities. It aims to be a proper content management and publishing system, sharing the same qualities as Teamsite, Livelink, and Documentum.
NOAH is a Web-based document management system that is feature-rich, easy to use, and simple to install. Through a browser interface, users can easily create, update, lock, search, and manage document revisions for access by multiple users across many geographical sites. NOAH includes many powerful features such as client scripting, hierarchical document access control, and email notification. Administrators can manage users and archives and monitor database activity through an extensive suite of tools.
uWiki is a minimalistic wiki engine. All actions are implemented in external scripts. These scripts are wikified, and thus the wiki is extensible by itself. All dynamic access is protected through ACLs. Wiki content and Web content can be mixed in the same directory hierarchy. Markup engines and revision control are plugin-able. Currently, asciidoc as the markup engine and git as the revision control backend are provided. Subdirectories can form independent sub-wikis with own revision control. Features like distributed pages that syncronize between wikis, spam protection, and batch jobs to schedule mirroring of other content (bittorrent, git, rsync, and wget) are in planning.

The goal of Tidydoc is to make documentation organization easier. It makes it easy to add documents to a repository, give them the right names, put them into the right directories, and reorganize them a posteriori. Then it can generate a set of HTML pages to browse your documents and a BibTeX file to reference them. Every operation can be done through a Web interface if you are running a Web server (or using the embedded lightweight server), and/or through command line scripts. This allows documents to be uploaded remotely using scp or any other file transfer program. Tidydoc is written in Python in a spirit of flexibility and easy tweaking, but its default behavior should fit the needs of most people.
