fastcgi-gallery is a Web gallery based on Apache::Gallery, but is hacked for usage with Perl FastCGI scripts. Therefore, this version is about 10x quicker (with cache turned on) than Apache::Gallery. With the best template system (Template-Toolkit) you can customize your gallery as you wish; for example, you can create a multi-language gallery. A database is not used; everything is stored in files. Output and generated thumbnails are cached for speed optimization.

The set of distributions forms an entity, but each distribution works also on its own. All elements are arranged in the same way for each distribution.

It comes with a default set of filters that use NetPBM and ImageMagick; others can be easily added. It can upload images using SCP. It supports Casio digital cameras, YUV420P Video4Linux devices, and grabbing images supplied by an external Webcam program. It does not require X11. It has been tested using the Casio QV-10A digital camera and the Phillips (pwc driver) Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000.
pHoToMoLo is a toolset for managing JPEG images in JFIF or Exif format. Photomolo generates a static HTML 4.01- and CSS 1-based multi-resolution image gallery for a directory tree containing images. Exifiron losslessly compresses and corrects the orientation of Exif JPEG images. Jpegnail removes or embeds thumbnails. Jpegcom lets you edit embedded image comments using any text editor and image viewer. A shell script frontend for Exifiron is included for copying images from removable storage, such as USB or Compact Flash.
My Photo Gallery is a Web-based photo gallery that also supports non-image filetypes. It is easy to setup and even easier to maintain. Slick-looking image galleries and thumbnails are generated on the fly from any root directory that you specify. Albums can be created using the included Web-based adiminstration tool or by creating a directory and copying your pictures and files to that directory. A Web administration interface is available to help add descriptions, rename images, rotate images (losslessly), and more. It includes advanced features such as image logging, renaming, resizing, image rotation, smilies, and visitor comments. Unlimited filetypes may be recognized, and custom images for them can be displayed in your galleries, allowing you to archive MP3s, MPEGs, AVIs, etc.
