Bantam is a fast, light file manager for X11. It is targeted at power users who know their way around a file system and like to use the keyboard. Its important features include single-keystroke commands as the primary mode of operation, an arbitrary number of directory views, and a configurable interface to external file viewers and editors.
EasyRunner is a program launcher that is easy to operate. You add buttons simply by clicking in an empty place on the main window grid and defining its associated command. You can also have indefinite levels of sub-menus, each with their own buttons and hotkeys. If wanted, you may lock the user interface with a password to keep the end user from changing it. EasyRunner is distributed as a platform-independent starkit.
The Enhanced TightVNC Viewer, SSVNC, adds encryption security to VNC connections. The package provides a GUI for Windows, MacOS X, and Unix that automatically starts up an STUNNEL SSL tunnel for SSL or ssh/plink for SSH connections to any VNC server and then launches the VNC Viewer to use the encrypted tunnel. On Unix and MacOS X, a VNC viewer with many new features is provided. The short name for this project is "ssvnc", for SSL/SSH VNC viewer.
Hamster Font Manager (HFM) helps you control the avaliability of fonts in all of the supported applications from a central place. It includes modules to support X11, Ghostscript, and TeX. A PostScript module handles PS Fonts while other fonts remain untouched by this program. It features a nice Tcl/TK GUI. For X11 configuration to work, this software has to run on the machine's own X Server.
