Activity Manager is a project management tool that is simple to use, lightweight, and very efficient and customizable. It features collaborators repository administration, tasks repository administration, contributions management (activity management), and an extensible report facility (with built in templates). It allows you to build and maintain a hierarchical task tree. It is based on a database with a very simple model that allows quickly building custom reports through the report facility or through simple SQL requests.
The Application Switch sits between applications and service providers, allowing a central location for configuration instead of requiring the user to configure each application separately. The switch also allows mutliple services to be combined and appear as a single service to applications.
BitLife is an implementation of life using boolean operations (AND, OR, XOR), computing each new cell from 9 bits (itself & neighbours). It's performed in parallel on the whole image by bitblit operations (with hardware accelearation where possible). This also allows many parallel life games to run in each bitplane of the screen, giving a translucent blending effect. A proof-of-concept Python (pygame/Numeric) implementation and an xscreensaver hack are included.
Blackbox is yet another addition to the list of window managers for X. It is written in C++, sharing no common code with any other window manager (even though the graphics implementation is similar to that of WindowMaker). It features small code size, a fast interface with simple menus, multiple workspaces, decorated windows, built-in graphics code to render solids, gradients, and bevels on the fly, and more.
CTWM is a highly-configurable window manager based on the classic TWM window manager. It supports xpms, multiple workspaces, advanced icon managment, animated icons and backgrounds, 3D titles and borders, etc. It offers rudimentary Gnome support and is backwards-compatible with TWM.
EasyRunner is a program launcher that is easy to operate. You add buttons simply by clicking in an empty place on the main window grid and defining its associated command. You can also have indefinite levels of sub-menus, each with their own buttons and hotkeys. If wanted, you may lock the user interface with a password to keep the end user from changing it. EasyRunner is distributed as a platform-independent starkit.
Enlightenment is a themeable, fast, flexible, and powerful window manager that is designed to be as configurable as possible in both look and feel. In addition, Enlightenment provides an applet API that provides functionality somewhere between the GNOME applet system and Dock Apps from Afterstep/WindowMaker. The current design aim is for Enlightenment to become a desktop shell.
