ICS is an inter-process configuration sharing system. It allows one process to act as the master and manage the configuration backing storage, while other processes transparently connect to the master using an ICS::Controller::Slave class, which has the same API as the ICS::Controller::Master class and allows them to use the configuration and subscribe to changes as if the process were hosting the master controller. It is useful for projects that use multiple processes but don't want to use a desktop-wide configuration system like GConf. A demonstration is included.

Final Config implements the preference dialogue (typically found under Edit->Preferences) as a separate application that can be used by another application (called the client application or client) through DBus. The available preferences and how they are to be presented to the user is described in an XML file (the desc file), which can be stored in a place convenient to the client. The client does not need to bother with the desc file; it just needs to pass along the file location when invoking the FinalConfig service.

Salut à Toi (or SàT: "Hi to You") is an XMPP/Jabber client with multi-frontends. You can use it on a desktop (Wix), with a console interface (Primitivus), as a command-line tool (jp), or on the Web (Libervia). A plugin architecture is used to make it modular. With SàT, you can perform all the expected XMPP functions (instant messaging, multi-user chat, file transfert, etc.), but you can also use your email client (MUA) to read and send your XMPP messages, play games, do microblogging, pipe Unix command results, make scripts, etc.

pulseaudio-mixer-cli is an interactive ncurses UI to control the volume of PulseAudio streams. It is somewhat like alsamixer, but focused not on sink volume levels (which can actually be controlled via alsamixer, with the alsa-pulse plugin), but rather on the volume of individual streams from applications, allowing the user to balance sound levels between them. Interaction with pulseaudio is done through the DBus interface, and the UI is designed to be as simple as possible, without heavy DE dependencies like GNOME libs or KDE/QT.
