AUC (Authenticated User Community) is an intranet system designed for use in an educational organization but is also useful in many other settings. It offers the ability for users to have a uniform web-based interface to discussion forums, e-mail (similar to hotmail, etc.), file management, and a searchable user database. Also, "Interactive Classrooms" provide a means for students and teachers to have a web-based extension to their in-class interaction. The system runs from a C-based monolithic CGI script. MySQL is used for database storage. Also, the web-based mail client supports MIME parts/attachments, IMAP, mbox, and multiple mail folders.
CDDBD.sh is a shellscript speaking the CDDB Protocol version 1 without enhancements and read only. CDDBD.sh allows to query a local database on a filesystem that was filled with entries using such programs like xmcd or kscd. CDDBD.sh was developed to be used in a local or home network and not to serve a WAN.
dict_pgsql is a dictionary for the mailer postfix. It is able to get all virtual users out of a postgres database; this is very helpful if you have a large number of users who make updates on their aliases quite often. You don't have to extract all the values into system files; the entries will be fetched directly from the database.

WCN:Talk (originally called "FutureForum") is a Web discussion forum written in Perl and MySQL. It has many options, including message selection and sorting on the top index page. It also has collapsible branches, a menu that toggles between 'no menu', 'simple', and 'advanced' modes, full text search capability, the ability to send email to the admin and original poster, and many other features. It includes password protection, HTML templates, file uploads, message subscription, multiple discussion sections, and a lot more.
JSX serializes Java objects to XML. You can persist objects, evolve them, and send them over the network and between applications. Your object data becomes human-readable and human-writable. You can test it, search it, profile it, audit it, and edit it with ordinary text and XML tools. JSX handles all POJOs and also all classes that require Java's own object serialization.
