TYPO3 CMS is a Web Content Management System which features automatic creation of navigational menus, headlines, and other dynamic graphical elements, automatic conversion and scaling of images, the ability to present different templates based on variables such as client browser or country code, support for multiple templates on a site, and a built-in password-protection option. Pages can be timed to be shown on a certain date, be hidden on a certain date or just temporarily hidden. TYPO3 supports search in SQL-databases and redesigning of a website at once is just a matter of creating a single new template.
hamsterdb Embedded Storage is an embedded database engine written in ANSI-C. It includes B+Trees with variable length keys and records. It supports in-memory databases and endian-independent files, database cursors, multiple databases in one file, "record number" databases, and duplicate keys. hamsterdb is very fast and highly configurable. It compiles and runs on Unix platforms, Linux, Microsoft Windows, and Windows CE.
Tellico is a collection manager for KDE. It includes default collections for books, bibliographies, comic books, videos, music, video games, coins, stamps, trading cards, and wines, and also allows custom collections. Unlimited user-defined fields are allowed. Filters are available to limit the visible entries by definable criteria. Full customization for printing is possible through editing the default XSLT file. It can import CSV, Bibtex, Bibtexml, RIS, MODS, CDDB, and audio file metadata and exports CSV, HTML, Bibtex, Bibtexml, ONIX, and PilotDB. Entries may be imported directly from Amazon.com, imdb.com, any z39.50 bibliographic server, PubMed, or an external script.
CodaServer is a database that makes building business applications easy. It uses a SQL-like language that lets you describe your workflow and business processes, and uses this information to enforce your business rules and guarantee data integrity. It also has a rich set of metadata commands so that your applications can get the information they need to build intelligent, process-aware user interfaces. CodaServer's listener is Web service-based, making it truly cross-platform, and it uses standard SQL databases for storing data, protecting your current investment.
hamsterdb Transactional Storage is an ANSI-C implementation of a key/value database engine. It has a lock-free architecture, thus supporting an arbitrary number of long-running transactions and resolves transaction conflicts in memory without accessing the disk. hamsterdb uses logical, idempotent logging for recovery. It is thread-safe and concurrent, moving performance intensive operations to the background. Every hamsterdb handle can be used from arbitrary threads.
MariaDB is a database server that offers drop-in replacement functionality for MySQL. It is built by some of the original authors of MySQL, with assistance from the broader community. In addition to the core functionality of MySQL, it offers a rich set of feature enhancements including alternate storage engines, server optimizations, and patches.
Unibas is a program (a "fat client" of PostgreSQL) to manage frequently used entity types. Its mission is to create a relational database that is both human- and machine-readable (semantic) to collect data about people, documents (books, songs, movies, etc.), products (CDs, DVDs, etc.), fictional characters, events, places and other entities for personal and collective use. It features complete archive management. You get a document (text, image, music, video) from somewhere (e.g. from the Internet) and tell Unibas to take care of it. Unibas does the rest. Album management: CDs can be lost or destroyed by scratches or heat. Unibas makes it easy to back them up, including most of the metadata (composers, artists, titles, etc.). Organize your knowledge in a tree structure like most modern scientific books, yet extended over the complete human knowledge. Link your knowledge with existing knowledge in the tree and with external documents. Tap the many human-readable sources on the Internet and put their content in an ordered, machine-readable, semantic form. Explain words in a dictionary through well understood language-agnostic notions.
WiFiDB is a set of scripts that is intended to manage wireless access points found with the Vistumbler wireless scanning software. WiFiDB also has support for importing Netsumlber summary files and Wardrive for Android database files. WiFiDB can also export access points with GPS to a Google Earth KML file, so you can see where the access points are located.
