AbulÉdu is a Ubuntu-based distribution for primary schools. It is currently in French but most of the tools can be translated. An AbulÉdu server can handle Mac, Windows (samba), GNU/Linux and X terminal (with LTSP) clients. The server acts as a central gateway for Web, mail, and printing, and facilitates the management of classes, pupils, and teachers. Everybody can publish Web pages on an intranet using Apache and all administration tasks are performed using a browser. The result is that a teacher who is not a computer specialist can install and manage a school network.

The Internet Media Manager is a Web-based database application that allows webmasters to centrally store their images and videos to be served on their sites. It provides a Youtube-like interface whereby users can simply copy and paste code snippets to embed images and videos into their Web pages. It also provides a photo gallery component that allows users to easily embed a gallery of images into their Web pages by simply copying and pasting a snippet of Javascript code.

JSqsh is a Java reimplementation of a console based (i.e. non-graphical) database query tool called sqsh. Jsqsh combines the ability to run SQL queries against any database with a JDBC driver along with much of the functionality of a Unix shell, such as piping the results of queries out to external programs (grep, more, etc.), expanding variables, redirecting output to files, command line editing, tab-completion of object names, and more.
