StelsMDB is a MDB JDBC type 4 driver that allows you to perform SQL queries and other JDBC operations on Microsoft Access database (versions 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2007) files. The driver is completely platform-independent and does not require installing additional client or server software to provide access to MDB files. It can be effectively used to create, process, and export Microsoft Access databases in your Java applications. It supports most keywords of ANSI SQL'92, supports inner and outer table joins, supports CREATE, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements, supports transactions, and supports aggregate, numeric, string, conversion, and user-defined SQL functions.
SymmetricDS Pro is software for data replication, change data capture, and data transformation in a heterogeneous enterprise environment. Performance and scalability allow it to replicate thousands of databases asynchronously in near real time. With flexible configuration and powerful scripting and programming interfaces, it can be extended to meet a range of requirements. Based on the popular open source version of SymmetricDS, the Pro edition enhances the experience with a click-through installer, Web management console, and production support.
BaseX is a light-weight, high-performance, and scalable XML database system and XPath/XQuery processor, including full support for the W3C Update and Full Text extensions. An interactive and user-friendly GUI frontend gives you great insight into large XML data instances. It is platform independent and works out of the box.
GeoServer is a software server that allows users to share and edit geospatial data. Designed for interoperability, it publishes data from any major spatial data source using open standards. GeoServer is the reference implementation of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Web Feature Service (WFS) and Web Coverage Service (WCS) standards, as well as a high performance certified compliant Web Map Service (WMS). GeoServer forms a core component of the Geospatial Web.
GetData is a library that provides an API to interface with dirfile databases. The dirfile database format is designed to provide a fast, scalable format for storing and reading binary, synchronously-sampled, time-ordered data. GetData was originally written for the BOOMERanG and BLAST experiments as a data format suitable for use for both quick-look and data reduction. It is now used by many other cosmological and astrophysical experiments including ACT, Planck, Spider, Keck, as well as other projects.
The OODBMS/DBMS ODABA is an terminology-oriented database management system (TODBMS) on a high conceptual level. This is an extension of the ODBMS concept according to ODMG 3. It provides a number of enhanced features based on natural language analysis. Beside the database kernel, a number of tools are provided for database design, documentation, and fast development. ODABA provides a powerful interface (C++, .NET) and an ODABA Script Interface (OSI), a C++/JAVA like scripting language, which provides easy access to the database.
