Kradview is a viewer of images obtained from different sources such as X-ray, NMR, and DICOM-compatible imaging devices. Its aim is to be an easy-to-use DICOM viewer with instant rendering of images, no matter the size and the zoom of the DICOM image. It allows medical professionals to view X-ray images easily.
libGlass is a scalable set of components that can be used by applications to perform distributed computing. Applications are built by reusing the available components as needed. One of the major goals of Glass is to be a user-friendly framework, not only suitable for new applications, but also for legacy code. This is an important feature, as most available solutions for distributed computing require a substantial amount of rewrite of legacy code.
libHaru is a library for generating PDF files. It supports generating PDF files with lines, text, images, outlines, text annotations, and link annotations, compressing a document with deflate-decode, embedding PNG and JPEG images, embedding Type1 and TrueType fonts, creating encrypted PDF files, using various character sets, using CJK fonts and encodings, and basic U3D usage.
libconfig is a compact, portable library for reading, manipulating, and writing structured configuration files. The library includes bindings for both the C and C++ languages, and works on Linux, Mac OS X, and other POSIX-compliant operating systems, as well as Windows. A complete manual with API documentation is included.
libencio is a library providing a stdio-like interface for reading and writing of encrypted files (in MCrypt format only for now). Additionally, it provides full support for fseek()-like random read access of encrypted data. This allows one to operate on encrypted files as if they were ordinary, cleartext files. It could be used to provide MUAs with a layer to transparently handle encrypted attachments, as a backend to ffmpeg or mplayer to directly play encrypted files, or in combination with tar for encrypted backups. It uses libmcrypt and libmhash for encryption and hashing algorithms.
libmistat is a library of statistical functions. It supports sorting and basic descriptive statistics. Data is sent to functions in the matrix/vector format found in the GSL Scientific Library. The statistical routines have been tested for accuracy using NIST data where available.
