openHBCI is a C++ library for the German HomeBanking Computer Interface. It includes some tutorials for testing the library. Its current capabilities include complete key management on disc (RDH) and/or chip-card (DDV), the ability to perform single customer credit transfers, and the ability to get balance reports.
JHBCI is JCA/JCE cryptographic service provider for Java. It is useful for building HBCI home banking applications (clients and servers). JHBCI implements all relevant "RDH" crypto algorithms for the German Homebanking Standard HBCI Version 2.2, such as DES, RSA, ISO9796-1:1991-Signature, and RIPEMD160-MessageDigest.
Random Tools is a collection of tools you can use to collect random data and feed it to the kernel random pool. At present, only collecting from your sound card (/dev/dsp) is supported, but adding support for other sources of randomness (sometimes referred to as "entropy sources" or "random generators") should be easy. You can test the input with FIPS 140-2 tests before writing it to /dev/random.
OpenVPN is a robust and highly configurable VPN (Virtual Private Network) daemon which can be used to securely link two or more private networks using an encrypted tunnel over the Internet. OpenVPN's principal strengths include wide cross-platform portability, excellent stability, support for dynamic IP addresses and NAT, adaptive link compression, single TCP/UDP port usage, a modular design that offloads most crypto tasks to the OpenSSL library, and relatively easy installation that in most cases doesn't require a special kernel module.
