Beneath A Binary Sky is an engine that simulates a world in which robots controlled by programs can live, work, fight, and even bear new children. The long-term goal of the project is to create a fully configurable engine that can simulates any kind of world, from simple to complex ones with many rules and events.
Universaltext Interpreter is a tool to produce written output (e.g. a prose book to be published, a dictionary in both electronic and paper format, or a Web site). It automates logical interdependencies and lets authors concentrate on the content and its structure. To use, an author writes the source information in plain text files or in word processor documents. The content structure is provided with an embedded unobtrusive prefix notation or with self-defined formats. You can navigate and query the source text structure with a script and generate from a single source multiple documents in different formats that extract all or some part of the contents.
NotesBox is a Java class that implements a ready-to-use text area for personal notes. It handles opening, reading, and saving the file. It extends the JPanel class, so all the buttons and text area can be added at once to a container. The button labels are customizable and the programmer has the choice whether or not to include the option to change the notes file by the user.
Flexmock is a mock/stub/spy library for Python. Its API is inspired by a Ruby library of the same name. However, it is not a goal of Python Flexmock to be a clone of the Ruby version. Instead, the focus is on providing full support for testing Python programs and making the creation of fake objects as unobtrusive as possible. Flexmock’s design focuses on simplicity and intuitiveness. This means that the API is as lean as possible, though a few convenient short-hand methods are provided to aid brevity and readability. Flexmock declarations are structured to read more like English sentences than API calls, and it is possible to chain them together in any order to achieve high degree of expressiveness in a single line of code.
JSimLife is an advanced biological life simulation. In JSimLife, every life form is a cell. Every cell is a Sprite and it has a Brain and a Dna object. Every Cell's aspects are stored in a Dna (Dna is a Vector of parameters). Cells are able to reproduce themselves using methods provides by the Dna class. The user can change the Simulation Parameter, create new DNA, create new types of cells, and save or load simulations and DNA.
