WP2LaTeX is a program designed to translate WordPerfect documents into LaTeX 2.09 and LaTeX 2.0e. It is able to cope with Macintosh WordPerfect 1.x, 2.x, 3.x, and 4.x and PC WP 4.x, 5.x, and 6.x documents (WP 7.x and 8.x have same binary file format as 6.x, so no additional conversion module is necessary.)
eLyXer (pronounced elixir) is a LyX to HTML converter. While there are a ton of such projects all over the Web, eLyXer has a clear focus on flexibility and elegant output. LyX is a wonderful text editor that produces beautiful PDF files. Internally, it exports documents to LaTeX, and from there to PDF. Sadly there is not an equivalent “export to HTML” option. With eLyXer, you can convert your master’s thesis, learned article, fascinating novel, or love letter to an HTML page that you can then publish on the Web. It is a standalone tool that does not depend on LyX.
ClassPublic.java is a Java .class file converter which makes a Java class public and non-final, its fields public, and its methods public and non-final. ClassPublic.java has a compact implementation, depending only on J2SE 1.5.0 or newer. ClassPublic.java can be used to increase interoperability and code reusability of a .class file whose .java source is not available or is not feasible to recompile.
Package Converter is an alien frontend . Alien is a program that converts between Red Hat RPM, Debian deb, Stampede slp, Slackware tgz, and Solaris pkg file formats. If you want to use a package from another Linux distribution than the one you have installed on your system, you can use alien to convert it to your preferred package format and install it. It also supports LSB packages.
POSNUMCON is a command-line (or console mode) program for converting between positional numeral systems written in C++. It is able to convert between any positional numeral system (e.g. decimal, octal, binary and hexadecimal) with base (radix) between 2-36 (there is the possibility for extension). It offers full support for big length, negative, and floating-point (fractional) numbers, saving calculation results to a text file. It is fully and easily customizable.
JCGO (pronounced as "j-c-go") translates (converts) programs written in Java into platform-independent C code that can be compiled (by third-party tools) into highly-optimized native code for the target platform. JCGO is a powerful solution that enables your desktop, server-side, embedded, mobile, and wireless Java applications to take full advantage of the underlying hardware. In addition, JCGO makes your programs, when compiled to native code, as hard to reverse engineer as if they were written in C/C++. The JCGO translator uses some optimization algorithms that allow, together with optimizations performed by a C compiler, the resulting executable code to reach better performance compared with the traditional Java implementations (based on the Just-In-Time technology). The produced executable does not contain nor require a Java Virtual Machine to execute, so its resource requirements are smaller than that required by a typical Java VM. This also simplifies the process of deployment and distribution of an application.
Flac2All is a multi-threaded script that will convert your collection of FLAC files into either Ogg Vorbis, MP3 (with the Lame encoder), or FLAC, complete with any tags and identical file/folder structure. The script has been stable for about a year now, and it has been known to saturate 8-core machines with parallel conversions. It is useful for people with with large FLAC collections who also want a lossy version for portable media players. If wanted, the script can perform updates by skipping already converted files. It has only been tested on Linux, but it should work without alteration on the other Unix systems with bash and the required dependencies.
