Slide titles are considered questions and the slide contents their answers. Based on state-of-the-art memorization and scheduling algorithms, OpenCards will help you learn any set of flashcards.
kdrill helps people learn Japanese 'Kanji' characters. Its includes a multiple-choice Kanji quiz program that helps people learn Japanese characters with different guess formats and history options. It also has a suite of dictionary lookup functions. Words can be found using a variety of methods including Romaji, SKIP, four-corner, cut-n-paste, radical lookup, and English search.
Linguistic Tree Constructor is an application for drawing linguistic syntax trees. Its main strength is assisting in data production by quickly analyzing large amounts of text. "Generic" trees are supported, as well as RRG and X-Bar trees. Node-categories are user-definable, and additional user-definable labels can also be applied to each node. Publication-quality, high-resolution, horizontal trees can be drawn. The file format is based on TIGER-XML.

OpenLMS is a Learning Management System (LMS) made at the Department of Geography, NTNU. The system is a fully functional LMS with support for group collaboration, file sharing, distribution of lectures, and other supporting features. It is a good tool for distributing lecture notes to groups of students, and for faciliating collaboration for groups of students and teachers.
Omnitux aims to provide various educational activities based on multimedia elements (images, sounds, and text). Possible activity types are associations, puzzles, counting activities, etc. There is support for multiple languages and multiple screen resolutions (by using SVG vector graphic files and high quality bitmap files). Omnitux activities are described in XML files, so it is possible to create new activities without modifying the program.
