grzip is a high-performance file compressor based on Burrows-Wheeler Transform, Schindler Transform, Move-To-Front, and Weighted Frequency Counting. It uses the Block-Sorting Lossless Data Compression Algorithm, which has received considerable attention in recent years for both its simplicity and effectiveness. This implementation has a compression rate of 2.234 bps on the Calgary Corpus (14 files) without preprocessing filters. This is essentially an adaptation/extension of GRZipII by Ilya Grebnov.
SCZ is a set of simple, portable, light-weight file compression and decompression utilities. Simple compress and decompress subroutines can be linked and called within applications to compress or unpack data on the fly. These functions can also be used through stand-alone utilities. The initial set of routines implements a lossless compression algorithm, so restoration and decompression are perfect.
AntFlow builds upon Apache Ant to provide a new approach to simplifying system automation that uses pipelines of hot folders chained together to perform a given task. Using XML, it associates an automated task such as data transfer, encryption, or XML processing with a directory on the local system. Whenever a file is copied or written into the hot folder, the associated task is executed and the file is moved to the next hot folder in the pipeline for further processing.
