PHPCoder is a Web-based frontend to the Turck MMCache encoding functions, which are similar to the Zend Encoder product. PHPCoder enables you to encode your PHP scripts and applications into non-reversible bytecode, thus preventing users of your programs from viewing or altering the source code while having full functionality. Another excellent use for PHPCoder is to encode your applications PHP configuration files, that way someone viewing your source code does not see your databae login and password information. It also allows you to set restrictions on the encoded scripts, you can lock a script to a particular server IP address, server host name, visitor IP, or even place a time limit on the script so it will expire after a configurable amount of time. You specify Text, HTML, or PHP code that should be prepended and appended to each file before it is encoded, allowing you to easily and securely implement your own licensing scheme.
Groovy is an agile, dynamic language for the JVM which combines many features from languages like Python, Ruby, and Smalltalk and makes them available to Java developers using a Java-like syntax. It is designed to help get things done on the Java platform in a quicker, more concise, and fun way. It can be used as an alternative compiler to javac to generate standard Java bytecode to be used by any Java project or it can be used dynamically as an alternative language, such as for scripting Java objects, templating, or writing unit test cases.
Oink is a collaboration of backends for the Elsa C and C++ frontend. It aims to be industrial-strength for immediate utility in finding bugs, extensible for ease in adding backends, and composable for ease in combining existing ones. It computes expression-level and type-level data flow, and statement-level intra-procedural control flow (by delegating to Elsa). It's easy to get started by using the two demo backends that print graphs of these flows. It also comes with a client of the data flow analysis that does type qualifier inference: Cqual++, a C/C++ frontend for Cqual. Whole-program analyses may be attempted using the linker imitator.
The Karmasphere DP language is a high-performance non-blocking parallel language for performing data processing. It is designed to give the user a high degree of control over the usage of system resources, such as how many CPU cores or how much disk I/O time to use, without requiring the software developer to explicitly consider these issues in code. The implementation is a stand-alone library that can be used in any Java 1.5 environment. It can take full advantage of multiprocessor (SMP or NUMA) systems, and may be scaled sideways: since the interpreter and environment are stateless, an entire cluster of machines may run the interpreter in parallel without any need for synchronization.
