The Simple components for Ada library provides implementations of smart pointers for automatically collected objects (using reference counting), object persistence, unbounded and bounded arrays of smart pointers, generic unbounded arrays of private objects and plain pointers, generic sets, maps, directed graphs, directed weighted graphs, stacks, and storage pools. It also includes table management, string editing, IEEE 754 support, and infix expression parsing tools. Implementations of some lock-free shared data structures are provided.
Groovy is an agile, dynamic language for the JVM which combines many features from languages like Python, Ruby, and Smalltalk and makes them available to Java developers using a Java-like syntax. It is designed to help get things done on the Java platform in a quicker, more concise, and fun way. It can be used as an alternative compiler to javac to generate standard Java bytecode to be used by any Java project or it can be used dynamically as an alternative language, such as for scripting Java objects, templating, or writing unit test cases.
RSP is a retargetable language for writing portable Web applications. Web applications can be written once in RSP and then compiled, using the RSP compiler, to either ASP, JSP or PHP. The RSP language is syntactically similar to Java/JSP. It is strongly typed and pseudo object orientated. Its standard library contains functions and objects for common Web programming tasks and database abstraction.
JDBCPersistence is an Object Relational Mapping framework. Designed for use in high volume online banking applications, the package delivers performance matching that exhibited by hand-written JDBC code. It uses a bytecode generation technique to create bytecode for classes that implement logic used for persisting the data. As the framework uses SQL for querying data, the learning curve is reduced. The footprint of the package is under 200KB.
JSDAI is a toolkit around STEP or ISO 10303, the STandard for the Exchange of Product model data. It supports the Express data modelling language as defined in ISO 10303-11 and provides data exchange capabilities according to ISO 10303-21 STEP-file and ISO 10303-28 STEP-XML. JSDAI Runtime is an API according ISO 10303-22, the Standard Data Access Interface (SDAI) for the Java programming language, ISO 10303-27. JSDAI Developer is for the development of Express data models, including Express-G diagrams.
