Agora is a Web-based, threaded discussion tool, similar to Usenet newsgroups. Agora remembers each user's preferences, and allows threaded, unread-only browsing. It offers the ability to manage several different groups, with different themes, forums, and administrators for each group. Agora offers a basic Web-based ICQ client, as well as a Web-based notes system.

Anteater is a log analyser for MTA logfiles (such as those produced by sendmail and postfix). The tool is written in 100% C++ and is very easy to customize. Input, output, and the analysis are modular class objects with a clear interface. Currently, there are modules for reading the syslog format of sendmail and postfix that do up to eight useful analyses and write the result in plain ASCII or HTML, to stdout or to files.

NFSv4 specifies that the RPC calls be batched into a "compound" call. There is no support for this in RPCGEN. By rearranging the ONC IDL for NFSv4 into AutoGen definitions, these templates will emit the original IDL *plus* all the code to package, send, distribute, collect, return, and dispatch the results. The distributed program author merely needs to call and supply server procedures for the routines specified in the IDL. Templates for these calls and service routines is provided, too. The NFSv4 definitions are included.

Babylon Java Chat is a client and server combo that allows groups to chat and draw over any TCP/IP connection. The client can be run either as a standalone Java application or as an applet launched from a WWW document. It features public and private chatting and drawing, email, file transfers, chat rooms, instant and answering-machine style messaging, and console paging. The drawing canvas enables users to draw freehand, or to create lines, rectangles, ovals, or fonted text, or to paste images from files.

CGIProxy is a Perl CGI script that acts as an Internet proxy. Through it, you can retrieve resources that may be inaccessible from your own machine. The user is kept as anonymous as possible from any servers. HTTP and FTP are supported, and optionally SSL. Common uses include censorship circumvention, VPN-like setups, anonymous proxies, personal proxies, and others. Options include text-only browsing (to save bandwidth), selective cookie and script removal, simple ad filtering, access restriction by server, encoded target URLs and cookies, configuration by end user, and much more (currently about 50 config options).
