The Aglets Software Development Kit (ASDK) is a framework and environment for developing and running mobile agents. Mobile Agents are a type of software agent that have the unique ability to transport themselves from one system to another. Doing so, an agent can start its execution on one host in a network, and then, while still executing, migrate to another host. The Aglets Software Development Kit (ASDK) comes with a complete server, called Tahiti, that hosts the running agents, a comlete library for building mobile agents and a set of prebuilt examples along with the documentation.
The Alamin GSM SMS Gateway is a group of daemons that allows you to send/receive SMS messages from any GSM device that supports AT+ commands (GSM modems or GSM mobile phones) or supported by Gnokii. A client program allows you to send messages from any IP client. An SMTP interface is provided to allow MTAs to send SMS directly to the GSM network. IMP (Incoming Message Processor) modules allows you to extend functionality to implement banking, network administration, bd querys, etc. from a GSM mobile phone.
The Atropos (formerly AVNMP) Toolkit allows experimentation with predictive capability inside a network while the network is operating: this might be best described as 'in vitro' prediction experimentation. Its purpose is to facilitate experimentation towards addressing a severe limitation in state-of-the-art network management: current management techniques are reactive. The toolkit is an active application that executes in real time within a network that has an overlay active network. Active networking provides a framework in which executable code within data packets executes upon intermediate network nodes. The Atropos Toolkit provides the infrastructure to develop and inject numerous, small, interacting network component models in support of network prediction. Research results in Complexity Theory using Atropos can be found in the DARPA-funded GE Fault Tolerant Networking Project.
Baudline is a time-frequency browser designed for scientific visualization of the spectral domain. Signal analysis is performed by Fourier, correlation, and raster transforms that create colorful spectrograms with vibrant detail. Conduct test and measurement experiments with the built in function generator, or play back audio files with a multitude of effects and filters. The baudline signal analyzer combines fast digital signal processing, versatile high speed displays, and continuous capture tools for hunting down and studying elusive signal characteristics.
Bayesian Pattern Filtering Library is a general purpose library designed for building Bayesian Filters. Its primary purpose is to provide an easy-to-use interface to allow the building of Bayesian filters regardless of the data being analyzed. A user will only need to provide a tokenizer, hash function, and comparison function in order to build a Filter.
Better ASN is a Java ASN.1 API that focuses on speed and efficiency rather than extended functionality. This strategy prescribes one-pass decoding and near 100% encoding efficiency for typical ASN.1 usage patterns. Although BASN was developed for use by a Certificate Authority, the release comes packaged with an ASN.1 to Java compiler, which can be used to generate Java implementations of ASN.1 structures. This allows the API to be used for any Java application that may require ASN.1 decoding/manipulation/encoding.
BioCoRE is a collaborative work environment for biomedical research, research management, and training. It features easy-to-use tools, among them co-authoring papers and other documents, running applications on supercomputers, sharing molecular visualization over the Internet, notifying project team members of recent project changes by email, chatting, keeping a lab book, and other practical features.
BioMAJ (BIOlogie Mises A Jour) is a workflow engine dedicated to data synchronization and processing. It automates the update cycle and the supervision of the locally mirrored data repository. The application is generalist, but was applied in the bioinformatics field for biological data bank management. The packaging includes workflow and indexing post-processing scripts for most used biological data banks. Developed in Java and Ant, the application is compatible with various Unix-based systems.
