zpub is a server to collaboratively work on DocBook-based documentation. Editors modify the XML sources with their preferred editor and submit their changes via Subversion. zpub renders the files centrally to various output formats, optionally notifies other editors, provides an archive of all previous revisions of the document, and supports a simple sign-off workflow. The documentation and user interface is currently only available in German.
Livespaces is an operating system for building advanced meeting spaces. It provides a distributed software infrastructure built on the Elvin messaging service (the Livespace Bus) for coordinating software and devices across any number of computers in a meeting space, and user-facing applications for controlling a smart meeting room and collaborating with other participants. It also supports federation with remote Livespaces to facilitate collaboration between distributed teams.
Silverpeas is a collaborative Web portal. It is used to classify the contents on themes, independent of the spaces and folders in which they are stored. It supports subscribing to themes. The WYSIWYG interface for editing was simplified. The portal is accessed by way of a Web browser. There are personalized tools for the workspace. Interfaces and glossaries are available in multiple languages (French and English).
openPLM is a Web-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) application. It provides a configuration management system that manages all kind of files and data as documents in a product structure. It supports documents, parts, BOMs, part-document links, electronic signatures for objects, revision management, check in and check out for all files, plain text search using the Xapian engine, navigation between objects using Graphviz, and user management that allows sponsorship, delegation, and rights. Plug-ins are available for Thunderbird, OpenOffice/LibreOffice, FreeCAD, and Gedit.
