wxDesigner is a dialog editor and RAD tool for the wxWindows C++ library and its popular Python and Perl bindings. It includes a visual dialog editor, a bitmap editor, a syntax-highlighting source editor, and built-in mechanisms for automatic generation of file skeletons, GUI classes, event handlers, and getter functions. It provides an identical user interface and identical functionality for C++, Perl, and Python, and it can generate output in C++, Python, Perl, and XML.
xFloWS aims to provide a graphical toolkit in Java that enables users to create complex workflows by combining existing resources such as Web Services, Java classes, and more using an intuitive drag and drop interface, coupled with a graphical modelling system. You choose the entities that the new business requires for implementation, use the graphical interface to build connections between resources and model the flow to reflect the business functionality, and generate the code necessary for the business deployment.
xcb-proto contains descriptions of the X Window System core protocol and selected extensions in an XML-based data format. They are used by the X C Binding (XCB) library to generate much of its code, but you can also use these descriptions for other purposes, such as decoding the X protocol or building X Window System bindings for other languages.
xplain2sql converts files from Xplain to SQL. It supports a very large subset of Xplain, and it can convert from Xplain to Microsoft SQL Server, DB/2, Inprise InterBase, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL 5, SQLite 3 or ANSI-92 SQL. It can also generate an XML description of the generated SQL. This XML description can be used to create low-level middle-tier code. Example stylesheets for Eiffel/ECLI and Delphi/ADO are included. The C source code release should compile on any platform with an ANSI C compiler. There are binary releases for FreeBSD, Linux, Solaris x86, and Windows 2000.
The xsd2db package is used for converting XML Schema Definition files into DocBook XML code. The transformer can also be used to generate DocBook XML from plain XML files. It marks up tag names, attribute names, attribute values, and annotation, if parsing XSD code. The resulting DocBook XML code may be styled so that you have syntax highlighted XML code.
