ClusterControl is a Web interface to simplify distributing and monitoring (bioinformatics) applications on Linux cluster systems. It is based on a modular concept that enables integration of command line oriented programs into the application framework of ClusterControl. The system enables integration of different applications accessed through one interface and executed on a distributed cluster system. It uses Apache, PHP, and OpenPBS or Sun Grid Engine.
The DNServer class can be used to implement domain name servers (DNS). It starts listening to DNS UDP port 53 to handle domain name resolution requests. The class decodes the DNS request, and invokes a configurable callback function that takes the DNS query type and the domain to resolve and returns an IP address.
Ganglia is a scalable distributed monitoring system for high-performance computing systems such as clusters and grids. It is based on a hierarchical design targeted at federations of clusters. Ganglia is currently in use on over 500 clusters around the world and has scaled to handle clusters with 2000 nodes.
Gemeinschaft is a PBX based on Asterisk, MySQL, Apache, and PHP, and designed for high availability and clustering. It provides automatic provisioning for mass deployment, and can handle over 10,000 users. Administration is done via shell scripts or a Web GUI. Hot-desking and mobility are supported. German voice prompts are included. There is a standards-compliant Web GUI with internationalization (and German and English translations). Outbound and inbound routing with full PCRE support is included.
The Invisionix Roaming System Remote (IRSR) is a new metasystem which provides its users with a personal PC capability that operates in a distributed WAN environment. The metasystem is built with PHP, Javascript, and MySQL. The IRSR is a personal, general purpose, and modular mobile PC system, built by integrating existing Open Source components.
Kloxo is a lightweight and powerful Web hosting panel that has been in development since 2002. It was formerly known as LxAdmin. It allows for adding customers, resellers, and wholesale resellers with few clicks. Clustering functions are also built in, so you can expand and add servers whenever you need. Migrating customers between servers is easy and automatic, making it the most extensible panel to date. The services installed by default are Apache, BIND, MySQL, Pure-ftpd, Qmail, and Bogofilter. You can also switch between Apache and Lighttpd, BIND and djbdns, Bogofilter and Spamassassin. All configuration files are converted automatically in the process.
PHPDance is an object-oriented PHP interface to the Sharedance cache server. It allows you to cache data in the very fast and reliable Sharedance cache server. Features include the ability to be distributed across multiple servers and optional redundancy (in which writes go to two servers).
PigeonAdmin is the mail administration interface of the PigeonAir project, a solution for easily building clustered, scalable, and modular email services. PigeonAdmin allows many virtual domains of the mail server to be easily managed using a simple Web interface. It allows every domain to have a different configuration than any other. It also allows domain administrators to choose which configurations to force on their own users or which parameters the users will be able to configure and modify by themselves.
PigeonReader is the Web mail client of the PigeonAir project, a solution for easily building clustered, scalable, and modular email services. PigeonReader is completely UTF-8 compliant, allowing any charset to be used. It is based on XML, which allows skins and themes to be easily written using the XSLT language. It was written to be easily used in a cluster of Web servers, where multiple and different domains are to be managed transparently to the end user, possibly with different skins, features, and configurations.
