Software Engineering Environment (SEE) provides an information manufacturing platform for software development. It makes information sharing very convenient by allowing all information to be customized dynamically and letting users modify or add their own information structures at any time. It provides various predefined selections for information attributes that correspond to information manufacturing patterns. Although designed for software development, it could be used for managing any information, including book registries, personnel lists, and financial reports.
Giapeto is the Horde module for generating a dynamic Web site that is updatable by any number of users from a Web browser. It supports multiple levels of user permissions, the selection of templates that propagate to subpages, and linking to other Horde applications to seamlessly embed their content (such as the Jonah news/weather/stocks application, or user-created forms from Ulaform).
MIMP is a version of the popular webmail client IMP intended for mobile phones and PDAs. Basic webmail functionality is implemented, including mailbox viewing and paging, viewing messages, deleting, replying, forwarding, and composing new messages. It utilizes the Horde Application Framework.
KVpnc is a KDE frontend for various VPN clients. It supports Cisco VPN (vpnc, vpnclient (a proprietary client from Cisco)), IPSec (FreeS/WAN, Openswan, strongSwan, racoon), PPTP (pptpclient), OpenVPN, L2TP over IPSec (l2tpd, xl2ltpd, openl2tp) (usable with FreeS/WAN, Openswan, strongSwan, and racoon), Vtun, and OpenSSH. Smartcards will be supported within OpenVPN and strongSwan. vpnc is a replacement for the Cisco VPN client, and is used as a client for the Cisco3000 VPN Concentrator. FreeS/WAN, Openswan, and strongSwan are IPSec clients for Linux 2.4.x/2.6.x, and racoon is an IPSec client for Linux 2.6.x and *BSD. l2tpd, xl2tpd, and openl2tp are Linux L2TP VPN clients/servers.
ETH Lecture Communicator is a tool to improve classroom interaction between an instructor and their students. It enables the instructor to create and carry out in-class online assessments, and facilitates organized instant communication for large classes. It is intended to improve the overall quality of a lecture by providing the instructor with continuous feedback on the students' understanding of the material.
