FM-Classic provides an easy way to get data from Java servlets into Web pages. It also helps you keep graphic design separate from application logic. The template language is powerful and intuitive, the compiler is fast, and the output approaches the speed of static HTML pages. FM-Classic is a continuation of the FreeMarker 1.x code base.
mod-xslt is an Apache module which converts XML files into HTML files using XSLT stylesheets. It is able to parse dynamically-generated documents, both in POST and GET requests, includes a fully-featured language to choose the stylesheet to load from both configuration files and other .xml files, and provides extensions so stylesheets can access headers or get variables. Tntnet is a Web application server for generating Web applications in C++. HTML pages with some additional tags for inclusion of C++ code are compiled into shared libraries and served from tntnet. It resembles PHP, JSP, or Mason, but the programming language used is C++, and the pages are compiled into native code before serving. Tntnet is fully multithreaded and supports HTTP keep-alive for best performance. Its dynamic pages are faster than static pages with other Web servers, while creating Web applications is simple.
XHTML Family Tree Generator is a CGI Perl script together with some Perl modules that will create views of a family tree. Data can be stored in a database or in a data file. The data file is either a simple text (CSV), an Excel, or GEDCOM file listing the family members, parents, and other details. It is possible to show a tree of ancestors and descendants for any person, showing any number of generations. Other facilities are provided for showing email directories, birthday reminders, facehall, and more. It has a simple configuration, makes heavy use of CGI (and other CPAN modules), generates valid XHTML, and has support for Unicode and multiple languages.
