CLIP is a Clipper/XBase compatible compiler with initial support other xBase dialects. It features support for international languages and character sets. It also features OOP, a multiplatform GUI based on GTK/GTKextra, all SIX/Comix features (including hypertext indexing), SQL and ODBC drivers, a C-API for third-party developers, a few wrappers for popular libraries (such as BZIP, GZIP, GD, Crypto, and Fcgi), a multitasking client and application server based on TCP/IP sockets, object data base utilities, and a functions library.
PHPCoder is a Web-based frontend to the Turck MMCache encoding functions, which are similar to the Zend Encoder product. PHPCoder enables you to encode your PHP scripts and applications into non-reversible bytecode, thus preventing users of your programs from viewing or altering the source code while having full functionality. Another excellent use for PHPCoder is to encode your applications PHP configuration files, that way someone viewing your source code does not see your databae login and password information. It also allows you to set restrictions on the encoded scripts, you can lock a script to a particular server IP address, server host name, visitor IP, or even place a time limit on the script so it will expire after a configurable amount of time. You specify Text, HTML, or PHP code that should be prepended and appended to each file before it is encoded, allowing you to easily and securely implement your own licensing scheme.
Euphoria is a simple, flexible, easy-to-learn programming language. It lets you quickly and easily develop programs for Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, NetbSD, OpenBSD, and Mac OS X. Although Euphoria provides subscript checking, uninitialized variable checking, and numerous other run-time checks, it is extremely fast and has the ability to compile to transparently compile native executables via C code.
Java+ is a Java preprocessor that adds its features to any Java compiler. It has long, multi-line strings with executable inclusions like Perl or Ruby, optionally segregates Java+ strings into ResourceBundle files, eliminates the need for JSP or ASP and their implied need for Java compilers on deployment servers (a security concern), and adds absolutely no overhead in either space or time. There are graphical and command line interfaces, and a simple, general, and recursive string syntax.
Ch is an embeddable C/C++ interpreter for cross-platform scripting, shell programming, 2D/3D plotting, numerical computing, and embedded scripting. It is the simplest solution to numerical computing and visualization in the domain of C/C++. It supports the ISO 1990 C Standard (C90), major features in C99 (complex numbers, variable length arrays or VLAs, type generic functions, long long data type, etc), classes in C++, and extensions to the C language like nested functions, string types, etc. It can be embedded in other applications and hardware and used as a scripting language. C/C++ code is interpreted directly with no compilation to intermediate code. It supports Linux, Windows, MacOS X, Solaris, HP-UX, and FreeBSD.
RSP is a retargetable language for writing portable Web applications. Web applications can be written once in RSP and then compiled, using the RSP compiler, to either ASP, JSP or PHP. The RSP language is syntactically similar to Java/JSP. It is strongly typed and pseudo object orientated. Its standard library contains functions and objects for common Web programming tasks and database abstraction.
FreeFrameWork adds robustness features and development environment enhancements to the WebSpeed web application server product from Progress Software. Among its features are proactive database connection checking and reconnection, enhanced logging and security, and compile-on-the-fly HTML. Also included are enhancements to the workshop, with better filetools and a database schema viewer.
