Asido is an image processing solution for programs written in PHP 4 or PHP 5. It features "pluggable" drivers (adapters) for virtually any environment: either GD2, ImageMagick via shell, ImageMagick via the PHP extension, Magick Wand, or others. It offers the following functionality: resize images, watermark images, rotate imatgs, copy images, crop images, grayscale images, convert images, etc.
Easy PHP Thumbnail Class can be used to manipulate images and generate thumbnails. It can load images from files and generate thumbnails that can be saved to files or be generated as the current script output. Over 45 image manipulation functions are available.
Ilib is an image manipulation library for developers. It's capable of reading and writing images (PPM/PGM, PNG, JPEG, GIF, XPM, BMP) and many drawing functions including drawing lines and text using any BDF (X11) font. It's great for generating GIFs/PNGs from a CGI or generating graphs. Ilib includes sample applications for generating graphs for HTTP access.log files and QuakeWorld server frag log files and a tool for creating image indices from a group of images.
IsaViz is a visual environment for browsing and authoring Resource Description Framework (RDF) models represented as graphs. It features a 2.5D user interface allowing smooth zooming and navigation in the graph; creation and editing of graphs by drawing ellipses, boxes, and arcs; RDF/XML, Notation 3 and N-Triple export; and also SVG and PNG export.
Jpgtn generates smaller JPEGs from larger ones. It can work in batches and create new files with names based on the names of the source files. It can dump a single thumbnail to stdout for use with pipelines or CGI programs. Thumbnail size and quality can be controlled by switches on the command line. There is no maximum "thumbnail" size, so it can be useful for creating images suitable for web publishing from very large images such as those taken with a good digicam.
PHPGallue is a multi-user, server-oriented image management system with a Web frontend. PHPGallue is suited for photographers to organize and publish their work. It allows the user to mark images, groups, categories, films, and series as private or as only visible to registered users. It is designed especially for large numbers of images. The Web frontend and backend libraries are completely separated, so it is easy to integrate PHPGallue as a management system into existing Web applications.
The JGenerator is a Web server production application that can dynamically combine text, graphics, and sound to build rich Flash content. It is a free alternative to and analog of Macromedia Generator. It supports most of the Macromedia Generator features, uses the same data format and the same set of commands, and emulates its behavior.
fastcgi-gallery is a Web gallery based on Apache::Gallery, but is hacked for usage with Perl FastCGI scripts. Therefore, this version is about 10x quicker (with cache turned on) than Apache::Gallery. With the best template system (Template-Toolkit) you can customize your gallery as you wish; for example, you can create a multi-language gallery. A database is not used; everything is stored in files. Output and generated thumbnails are cached for speed optimization.
