SGQI is a print quota system for CUPS. It features per-printer user and group quotas, automated popup messages to users, and a Web application that lets users access print quota usage reports with a complete job history. Users, groups, printers, and quotas are all administered through the Web.
PHPsh allows you to have shell commands run on your behalf by Web servers that serve PHP pages, and solves these issues and more. It is a simplified version of the shell that allows you to execute arbitrary commands remotely through PHP. It is a handy way to run simple commands and maintain a history of executed commands, and a helpful environment that allows you to browse the filesystem and fetch or upload files.
NeedSecure is program that makes it possible for system administrators and Web masters to protect member areas with passwords. It supports allowing and denying access to any protected directory for all members or for every member individually, recursive password protection, three levels of administration, extended member profiles with additional fields, limited and unlimited member accounts, language files and email templates that can be edited from an admin panel, optional activation codes, UTF-8 encoding support, statistics, and more.
o2-sms.pl is intended for customers of O2 Germany that have an account at www.o2online.de. It can send SMS messages via the WWW gateway. Use the -f option to send a flash SMS (it will pop up on the recipient's display immediately). The message text can have up to 780 characters. SMS to wired recipients are limited to 160 chars, as they are being sent as "text-to-speech".
Ops Control Panel is a frontend for MRTG. Unlike many other frontends, it does not have any requirements beyond those of MRTG, although it can support PHP-enabled Web servers instead of just running as a Perl CGI script. It provides overviews of MRTG-based monitoring pages in a variety of formats.
FAUS is a Perl CGI to permit user administration through a Web interface. It manages users for both UNIX and Samba systems, uses sudo to give the rights to the Apache user to run some (limited) scripts as root, features different forms of authentication when using Apache, offers multilanguage support, and has log support.
rackview is a tool for visualizing the layout of rack- mounted equipment. It can load data either from database tables or a flat file. It can be used to assist in planning and tracking hardware changes to racks in a data center, and to provide a host-oriented interface into other database tools. The core of rackview is implemented as a Perl module, which can be integrated into a variety of different tools. Sample command line and CGI scripts are included, which should be sufficient for basic needs.
