The AudioCD Web Interface provides an easy interface for burning audio CDs. The interface allows you to simply upload wav files to a predefined directory (using Samba or FTP), configuring the track order and labels from the browser, and then simply proceed with the burn in your browser.
cdlabelgen generates frontcards and traycards for CDs. It was designed to simplify the process of generating labels for CD's. It originated as a program to allow auto generation of frontcards and traycards for CD's burned via an automated mechanism (specifically for archiving data), but has now become popular for labelling CD compilations of mp3's, and copies of CDs as well.
CDR-Toaster is a Tk frontend for writing CDs. It is a graphical front-end for the excelent programs 'mkisofs', 'cdrecord' and 'cdparanoia'. It may be used to burn audio, data, bootable, and combo CDs. It can also rip audio and data tracks. CDR-Toaster can even burn mp3s as audio CDs.
Disc-cover provides an easy way to produce covers for audio CDs. It scans audio CDs and uses information from the CDDB or CDINDEX database to build a back and front cover for the CD. Output is in Latex, Dvi, PDF, Postscript, HTML, plain ASCII, or any other format suited for cdlabelgen.
gcombust is a CD burner GUI. It works as a GTK+ frontend for mkisofs, mkhybrid, cdrecord, and cdlabelgen. It has primitive support for controlling the directory (root) structure and size of an image without copying files/symlinking or writing 10 lines of arguments. It can also maximize disk usage by hinting at which directories/files to use.
GNU VCDImager is a program for making Video CD (and Super Video CD, a.k.a. SVCD) images out of MPEG movie files. The images it creates are ready to use with programs which understand BIN/CUE images, such as cdrdao. GNU VCDRip allows for reversing the process, ripping mpeg tracks from (Super) Video CDs.
ID3.py is an object-oriented Python module for manipulating the so-called ID3 informational tags on MP3 files, which include such data as artist, track title, genre, et cetera. ID3.py is extremely easy to use, and is intended for folks who are developing MP3 encoder wrapper programs or browsers in Python.
