MP3c is a curses-based audio CD-to-MP3/OGG converter with CDDB support. It can be used in an interactive menu environment or a batch mode which lets you encode automatically. MP3c tries to find the most useful information in a CDDB entry, and even recognizes sampler CDs correctly. cdrkit is CD Recording Kit, a collection of applications related to creation of optical disk media on Unix platforms, from creation of the filesystems used on such media to the actual burning process. It is heavily based on the cdrtools package (partially developed and maintained by Joerg Schilling before), but is maintained independently.
