OpenSearchServer is a stable, high-performance search engine and a suite of high-powered full text search algorithms. Documents can be indexed in sixteen languages. Multi-lingual analyzers slice sentences into words, then run lemmatisation algorithms on words based on the document's language. Numerous document formats are supported, such as XML, HTML/XHTML, PDF, Word, PowerPoint, RTF, OpenOffice, plain text, MP3/4, Ogg, FLAC, etc. The Web interface, built around the Zkoss framework, provides an easy way to manage OSS. The integration is fast using the PHP client or the API (XML over HTTP). The crawlers of OpenSearchServer go through Web sites, file systems, and databases to rapidly and easily build your index.

librsb is a library for sparse matrix computations featuring the Recursive Sparse Blocks (RSB) matrix format. This format allows cache-efficient and multithreaded (that is, shared memory parallel) operations on large sparse matrices. The most common operations necessary to iterative solvers are available (matrix-vector multiplication, triangular solution, rows/columns scaling, diagonal extraction/setting, blocks extraction, norm computation, formats conversion). The RSB format is especially well-suited for symmetric and transposed multiplication variants. On these variants, librsb has been found to be faster than Intel MKL's implementation for CSR. Most numerical kernels code is auto-generated, and the supported numerical types can be chosen by the user at buildtime. librsb implements the Sparse BLAS standard, as specified in the BLAS Forum documents.

jslibs is a standalone JavaScript development environment for using JavaScript as a general-purpose scripting language. jslibs provides a set of native modules that contains various general-purpose classes and functions. Some of these modules are simple wrappers to familiar libraries such as zlib, SQLite, FastCGI, and NSPR. Other modules provide tools to enhance JavaScript programming. The jslibs distribution comes with a small standalone command-line access program (jshost) that can be used to run JavaScript files.

JCGO (pronounced as "j-c-go") translates (converts) programs written in Java into platform-independent C code that can be compiled (by third-party tools) into highly-optimized native code for the target platform. JCGO is a powerful solution that enables your desktop, server-side, embedded, mobile, and wireless Java applications to take full advantage of the underlying hardware. In addition, JCGO makes your programs, when compiled to native code, as hard to reverse engineer as if they were written in C/C++. The JCGO translator uses some optimization algorithms that allow, together with optimizations performed by a C compiler, the resulting executable code to reach better performance compared with the traditional Java implementations (based on the Just-In-Time technology). The produced executable does not contain nor require a Java Virtual Machine to execute, so its resource requirements are smaller than that required by a typical Java VM. This also simplifies the process of deployment and distribution of an application.

Listaller unifies the way you manage software on your Linux system by providing a user-friendly, application-centered software manager GUI. It also provides a software setup package format (the IPK package format), which works on all Linux distributions, as well as tools to make your application binaries work on every Linux distribution. The project has merged with Autopackage some time ago. One of Listaller's strengths is its close integration with AppStream and PackageKit. This means that you will be able to manage Listaller-installed applications with your favorite package-manager, like GNOME-PackageKit, Apper, or even the Ubuntu Software Center. Listaller is primarily designed to be run on Linux distributions, but it could be ported to *BSD.
