My Photo Gallery is a Web-based photo gallery that also supports non-image filetypes. It is easy to setup and even easier to maintain. Slick-looking image galleries and thumbnails are generated on the fly from any root directory that you specify. Albums can be created using the included Web-based adiminstration tool or by creating a directory and copying your pictures and files to that directory. A Web administration interface is available to help add descriptions, rename images, rotate images (losslessly), and more. It includes advanced features such as image logging, renaming, resizing, image rotation, smilies, and visitor comments. Unlimited filetypes may be recognized, and custom images for them can be displayed in your galleries, allowing you to archive MP3s, MPEGs, AVIs, etc.
WebVCR+ is a Web frontend to record your TV shows from, which has a TV Guide-like interface. You can record your shows to many different formats, and convert them during the idle time your computer isn't recording. You can also add favorites and manage your video library through the Web interface. Listings can be specified in XMLTV format, or grabbed from advalvas/eurotv. You can also easily add different commandline video recorders.
BlogPlanet is a blog client written in J2ME primarily for smartphones. It lets users make new posts to their blog, edit them later, and delete them. The editor features a user definable dictionary and directly supports some HTML formatting. On phones that support the Mobile Media API, the camera can be used to take pictures and include them in the blog entries. It supports all BloggerAPI-compliant XML-RPC supporting systems (Blogger.com, MovableType, B2, Radio Userland).
tvrec tools is a set of scripts for controlling an alternative capture-script to record TV with a Linux system. These shell scripts, together with some other standard Linux programs, allow you to trigger recording, view recording status, and delete the whole recording queue via email or SMS (short message service).
Image Leech is an automated image downloading program written in Perl. It will take a given address and retrieve all links to images and download. Each file downloaded can be renamed to prevent conflicts and to create an easily viewable collection. Other features include the ability to filter given Web pages, and traverse linked pages.
pHoToMoLo is a toolset for managing JPEG images in JFIF or Exif format. Photomolo generates a static HTML 4.01- and CSS 1-based multi-resolution image gallery for a directory tree containing images. Exifiron losslessly compresses and corrects the orientation of Exif JPEG images. Jpegnail removes or embeds thumbnails. Jpegcom lets you edit embedded image comments using any text editor and image viewer. A shell script frontend for Exifiron is included for copying images from removable storage, such as USB or Compact Flash.
