The Orby experience is not like the other virtual tours that you may have seen around the Web, where you stand in one spot and look around in a static 360 degree bubble. DVD-Baker generates a DVD consisting of menus and slideshows from a picture collection stored in a Menalto Gallery G2 Web site or in a locally stored directory tree. Each "leaf" album (an album that does not contain sub-albums) is used to create a slideshow. The slideshows (and any DVD-ready MPEG videos) are made accessible on the DVD with menus that follow the structure of the Web site or directories. It allows the creation of albums and sub-albums containing photos that can be labeled with tags in a drag-and-drop manner. Tags can be user-defined, if none can be found in the template collection. Photos can easily be selected according to several criteria (tags, legends, descriptions, etc.). Albums are saved in an XML format.
