Open Camera is a camera app for Android phones and tablets. It has the option to auto-stabilize so your pictures are perfectly level no matter what. Other features include zoom (multi-touch and single-touch), flash, focus modes, focus and metering areas, face detection, front/back camera, scene modes, color effects, white balance, ISO, exposure compensation, exposure lock, video recording, UHD 4K video, video fps and bitrate control, timer, burst mode, geotagging, configurable volume keys, and choice of save folder. The preview's aspect ratio can be set to either match the display's aspect ratio or the aspect ratio of the photo/video resolution. The UI can be optimised for left or right-handed users.
Darwin Wallet enables blind and visually impaired users to quickly recognize paper money. It uses the phone's camera to detect currency denominations for U.S., U.K., Canadian, European Union, and Australian bills. Simply hold the bill in front of the phone's camera, and the app will speak its value. The app uses the phone's camera and OpenCV (via Android NDK) to analyze and identify the currency image.
Entangle is a desktop application for interacting with digital SLR cameras. With a suitably capable camera, it allows for full manipulation of the camera settings, remote triggering of the shutter, live preview of scenes, and download of captured images. It supports use of monitor colour profiles for accurate on-screen rendering of images. Integration with the GObject introspection framework allows third party extension plugins to enhance the core functionality.

It can download photos and videos from multiple cameras, memory cards, and portable storage devices simultaneously. It provides many flexible, user-defined options for subfolder creation, photo and video renaming, and backup.
Marvin is an extensible image processing framework for Java. It provides features to manipulate images, to manipulate captured video frames, and to process images with multi-threading. Its features can be extended via plug-ins. Plug-ins can be integrated with the graphical user interface, and their plug-in performance can be analyzed. Every image processing algorithm is developed as a plug-in that can be plugged into the MarvinEditor, an image manipulation program that uses plug-ins developed using Marvin, or into third-party applications. Currently there are 55 plug-ins available.
