add-2-google-cal generates links to add events to Google Calendar. It takes as parameters the start and end dates, the title, and the location of a given event. It generates HTML for a link which will add the defined event to a Google calendar when the user clicks on the link.

DAViCal is a server implementation of the CalDAV protocol for storing calendaring resources (in iCalendar format) on a remote shared server. An increasing number of calendar clients support the maintenance of shared remote calendars through CalDAV including Mozilla Calendar (Sunbird/Lightning), Evolution, Mulberry, Chandler, and various other closed-source products such as Apple's iCal and iPhone.
