FastFlex is a cryptographic function, which uses a new approach to construct a secure cryptographic function which performs quite fast on processors of varying word length and architectures. FastFlex uses only four basic operations, word additions, word XORs, word rotations, and word multiplications, found in instruction sets of almost all processor architectures. FastFlex also has a manageable internal state size of 256 bits. A single 1KB s-box is used. The function accepts 8 words as inputs and as output produces 8 words.
Libpqstego is a library for perturbed quantization steganography with wet paper codes. It uses the quantization step during JPEG compression to embed secret data into an image. The implemented algorithm is nearly undetectable by blind steganalysis, and is much more secure than outguess, F5, or MB2.
oom_ext is a Linux kernel module that reserves memory that is freed right before the OOM-killer is invoked to allow for large processes to exit nicely. This could be useful in a clustering environment to allow for a monitoring daemon to notify a sysadmin before an out of memory condition.
qmptombox converts QuickMail Pro files to mbox files, ready for use by Mail.app or whatever your preferred mbox reading mail client is. It's a command line tool that churns out mboxes; just point it at your CE Software folder (usually in the OS9 system folder), and it will generate mboxes corresponding to the mailboxes in QMP. The default output is in Mail.app format.
