libxmp is a module player library which supports many mainstream and obscure module formats, including Protracker MOD, Scream Tracker III S3M, and Impulse Tracker IT. Possible applications for libxmp include standalone module players, module player plugins for other players, module information extractors, background music replayers for games and other applications, module-to-mp3 converters, etc.
Grand Unified Builder (GUB) is a mini source-based distribution and packaging system. It cross-compiles several packages with their dependencies and assembles them into a single installation package. It currently supports GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows installation packages. All packages are fully relocatable and can be installed with user privileges. Plain Python classes are used to describe package build specifics. For reasonably well behaved packages, individual build specifications can stay very simple by extending the generic build specification classes. It was originally developed for turnkey building of all LilyPond binary installers.
TIXI is a fast and simple XML interface library for applications written in C, C++, Fortran, Java, and Python. Although simplified and somewhat restricted compared to a fully-fledged XML processing library, it can create documents, create and delete nodes, and add and remove element attributes. Routines for reading and writing text nodes and nodes holding integer and floating point numbers are included, along with routines that process aggregates of these simple types for the processing of geometric data, multidimensional arrays, or arrays of vectors.

VICE is a Versatile Commodore Emulator, i.e. a program that runs on a Unix, Win32, MS-DOS, Mac OS X, Amiga, or RiscOS machine and executes programs intended for the old 8-bit Commodore computers. The current version emulates the C64, C128, VIC20, Plus4, C64-DTV, all the PETmodels, and the CBM-II (aka C610).

QP is a family of lightweight software frameworks for building responsive and modular real-time embedded applications as systems of cooperating, event-driven active objects (actors). The QP family consists of QP/C, QP/C++, and QP-nano frameworks, which are all strictly quality controlled, superbly documented, and commercially licensable. The behavior of active objects is specified in QP by means of hierarchical state machines (UML statecharts). The frameworks support manual coding of UML state machines in C or C++ as well as automatic code generation by means of the free QM modeling tool. All QP frameworks can run on bare-metal MCUs, completely replacing a traditional RTOS. Ports and ready-to-use examples are provided for all major CPUs, such as ARM Cortex-M, ARM7/9, MSP430, C28x, C55x, RX, R8C, AVR32, AVRMega, PIC24/dsPIC, as well as Arduino and mbed.
