Super Grub Disk is a bootable floppy or CDROM that is oriented towards system rescue, specifically for repairing the booting process. Super Grub Disk is simply a Grub Disk with a lot of useful menus. It can activate partitions, boot partitions, boot MBRs, boot your former OS (Linux or another one) by loading menu.lst from your hard disk, automatically restore Grub on your MBR, swap hard disks in the BIOS, and boot from any available disk device. It has multi-language support, and allows you to change the keyboard layout of your shell.

It includes BGP, OSPF, and RIP routing protocols, policy-based routing, a DHCP and caching DNS server, a Web proxy, and more. It runs on x86 physical machines and a variety of hypervisors, including KVM, Xen, VMWare, and Hyper-V. VyOS is forked from Vyatta and based on VC6.6 source code.

It is lightweight, and depends on standard software to do its task. It has a Web interface for portability and simplicity. It is scalable, so distributed judging is easy. There is a modular system for plugging in languages and compilers. It features rejudging, clarifications, and detailed submission/judging info.
Organic Photovoltaic Device Model is a 1D Schottky-Read-Hall based drift diffusion model specifically designed to model organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices. It can describe non-geminate recombination via two mechanisms: free-to-trap processes via an exponential tail of trap states, and free-to-free carrier processes. The model solves the drift diffusion equations for electrons and holes, Poisson's equation to calculate the potential distribution in position space, and the Schottky-Read-Hall capture escape equations for a discretized set of energy levels. The model has been used to generate a number of publications. It can simulate the following experiments often used to characterize OPV devices: JV curves (Light/Dark), Charge extraction data (Light/Dark), and Steady state recombination data (Light/Dark).
CIRCLean aims to be used by someone receiving a USB key from an untrusted source who wants to see the content without opening the original and potentially malicious files. The code runs on a Raspberry Pi, which means it is never required to plug the original USB key into a computer.
ALTSE is an alternative search engine technology. It can index up to a couple million Web pages. Altse does not aim to replace existing search engine technologies such as Google, Yahoo, and so on. Instead, it aims to provide an affordable alternative to index Web pages for small size businesses and organizations.
GeeXboX is a standalone media player Linux distribution, similar to MoviX. It's a small bootable CD that allows you to play your favorite video (DivX, XviD, H.264, MPEG 1/2, VCD, DVD, OggMedia, Windows Media, RealMedia, etc.) and audio (MP3, Audio CD, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, MPC, etc.) files. It also supports networking, and is able to play media from Windows/Samba share, NFS, UPnP A/V Media Servers, RTP/RTSP servers, or SHOUTcast. It supports TV-out, TV tuners, DVB cards, and WiFi cards. It is based on MPlayer, and can be used on any x86, x86_64, or PowerPC computer. It's easy to modify the source to build your own GeeXboX or use an alternative boot method.
