OpenXL is a multiple purpose C open engine. It is a proceduralization library. It can be seen as the artist, the designer, or even the programmer of your project. It is designed so that it has some function power that could turn into any task (performing a texture, a pixel art image, a mesh, a model, a level, a song, etc.). The idea is to play the part of the missing components on your team.
The Assimilation Monitoring Project is a highly scalable discovery-driven monitoring system. It integrates continuous discovery of servers, services, service dependencies, switch connections, and lots of other things into the monitoring process. The discovery is "stealthy" and will never set off any network security alarms. Adding servers doesn't measurably increase monitoring load, and the system is expected to easily scale into the 100K server range. The discovery work is distributed among all the nanoprobes (agents), which run scripts that spit out JSON. The central system (CMA) stores these strings and runs optional plugins to create graph nodes.
Upmf is a source-based package manager written almost completely in Scheme. The user is able to search, build, and remove packages. Since Scheme through GUILE is very extensible, the user can customize the procedures, or even exchange them with his own, if wanted. Packages are stored in their own self-contained directories and are incorporated into the filesystem with help of GNU Stow.
QSMM, the "QSMM State Machine Model", is a framework for development of non-deterministic intelligent state models and systems with spur-driven behavior. It includes low-level functions for generating optimal actions by the system and high-level functions for building multinode models. In a multinode model, nodes represent components of a system you develop which choose optimal actions using the framework and can correspond to entities external to the system and which behavior is to be learnt. A node can choose optimal actions based on a current node state which is either set manually by your program or is identified automatically by the framework. Probability profiles for a state transition matrix and an action emission matrix of the node can be specified using an assembler program with a user-defined instruction set.
o42a is a high-level general purpose programming language. It is compiled, statically-typed, prototype-based, logic-driven, and primarily declarative, while the imperative programming style is also supported. A program written in o42a is closer to natural English text than one written in any C-like programming language. The language is designed with programming productivity and code maintainability as main priorities. This achieved by powerful, yet restrained, semantics, and expressive and natural syntax.
Tomld (tomoyo learning daemon) is an extension to the Tomoyo security framework. Tomoyo increases security by confining applications and services into domains using rules. Tomld automates this process, helping users harden their systems more easily. To do this, tomld starts in learning mode, creates Tomoyo domains, collects rules, changes them, and, once the rules appear to be complete, tomld enforces the policy.
The OATH Toolkit makes it easy to build one-time password authentication systems. It contains shared libraries, commandline tools, and a PAM module. Supported technologies include the event-based HOTP algorithm (RFC4226) and the time-based TOTP algorithm (RFC6238). OATH stands for Open AuTHentication, which is the organization which specifies the algorithms. For managing secret key files, the Portable Symmetric Key Container (PSKC) format described in RFC6030 is supported.
GNU Recutils is a set of tools and libraries to access human-editable text-based databases called recfiles. A recfile contains data structured as a sequence of records. The rec format supports data integrity with the usage of record descriptors (keys, mandatory fields, field types, etc.) as well as the ability of record fields to refer to other records. Despite its simplicity, recfiles can be used to store medium-sized databases. The GNU recutils suite comprises a texinfo manual describing the Rec format, a C library (librec) providing a rich set of functions to access rec files, a set of C utilities that can be used in shell scripts and in the command line to operate on rec files, and an Emacs mode (rec-mode).
