ALTSE is an alternative search engine technology. It can index up to a couple million Web pages. Altse does not aim to replace existing search engine technologies such as Google, Yahoo, and so on. Instead, it aims to provide an affordable alternative to index Web pages for small size businesses and organizations.
lomoco can configure vendor-specific options on Logitech mice connected through USB. A number of recent devices are supported. The program is mostly useful in setting the resolution to 800 cpi or higher on mice that boot at 400 cpi (such as the MX500, MX510, and MX1000), and disabling SmartScroll or Cruise Control for those who would rather use the two extra buttons as ordinary mouse buttons. lomoco is a fork of lmctl.
muhttpd (mu HTTP deamon) is a simple but complete Web server written in portable ANSI C. It supports static pages, CGI scripts, and MIME type based handlers. It drops privileges before accepting any connections, and can log received requests. It has been tested on OpenBSD, GNU/Linux, NetBSD, FreeBSD, Mac OS X, and Cygwin. It runs successfully on 32-bits, 64-bit, little endian, and big endian systems.
Endpoint turns a Linux machine with one or more FireWire cards into an SBP-2 device. One can use any physical block device or file (disc image) as storage. With multiple clients, each can potentially access the SBP-2 devices from a unique FireWire bus and utilize the full bandwidth of that bus.
