S22.Imap is an easy-to-use and well-documented .NET library component for communicating with and receiving electronic mail from an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) servers. It supports IMAP IDLE notifications and IMAP over SSL, allows selective fetching of parts of mail messages, is inherently thread-safe, and is well documented with lots of example code.
Aspose.Network is a suite of .NET components for network programming with support for the .NET logging framework and Microsoft Exchange Server. It can read and write Outlook Message files and provides an iCalendar engine and SSL support for the SMTP, POP3, and IMAP protocols, with mail merging features. It can import and export email messages in the MHT and EML formats. It supports all the features of SMTP, MIME, S/MIME, POP3, FTP, WhoIs, DNS, ICMP, IMAP, HTTP, SOCKS 4/4A, and SOCKS 5 components.
Spam Trainer makes it easier for GNOME users to train spam filtering software (e.g. SpamBayes or SpamAssassin) that "learns" how to tell the difference between real email (ham) and unsolicited messages (spam). Not all email clients have spam filtering (and training) built in, and training external filtering programs can be fiddly. Spam Trainer provides easy (drag and drop) training from the Evolution mail client, and should work just as well with any email client that supports the drag and drop protocol implemented by the GTK+ toolkit.
Spamato is an extensible spam filter system. It is available as an add-on for Outlook, an extension for Thunderbird and Mozilla Mail, and a stand-alone proxy component. It provides a Bayesian filter, a rule-based filter, a Java implementation of Razor (Ephemeral and Whiplash), a filter that queries domains on Google, a collaborative domain, and a collaborative hash-based filter.
