OO Bench compares the speed of the same object-oriented tasks in several object-oriented languages. C++, Objective-C, and Java are currently supported. Support for Smalltalk, CLOS, CSharp, and Eiffel are in development. It aims to be simple, easy to understand, and easy to port. It also aims to follow the idioms and best practices advised by each language as much as possible. It is designed to make it easy to look up how a particular problem is best solved in another language.
Berkeley DB XML is a native XML database engine for use within your product. Made available as a C++ library with language bindings for Java, Perl, Python, PHP, and Tcl, it integrates directly into your application (it is not a standalone database server). It provides XQuery access into a database of document containers. XML documents are stored and indexed in their native format using Berkeley DB as the transactional database engine.

A system analyst can estimate the consequences of changes with impact analysis diagrams, such as matrix and analysis diagram. Visual Paradigm for UML generates Java code.
G2F3 (Generic Game Framework in eiFFel) aims to simplify the development of two player zero sum strategy games by separating game specific code from reusable generic code. So far, abstract board games are best supported. This software is written using GNU SmartEiffel. The package comes with six example games.
