SmartUI is a lightweight Java library for user interfaces. It can be used in applets or applications. It features a very small size. It is not JavaBean, but it includes a tool called UIMaker to design/generate the UI for your Java program. You can also manually edit your source and use the library API to create the user interface of your choice.
bkcvs allows you to easily download the current KDE developer sources from the CVS repository and compile them without any user interaction. It automatically manages the source copy in a local directory, and asks for several other options concerning your future KDE CVS install. For example, you can specify which languages you want to use.
Jamit (Java Access Modifiers Inference Tool) allows you to infer tighter access modifiers for Java code. Analyzing bytecode, it can find out if fields or methods may be declared private, default, protected, or final. Engineering software with Jamit can thus help increase hiding and keep interfaces as small as possible. The most useful application for Jamit is dead code elimination. Jamit can be used to find out which methods and classes are unreachable and automatically eliminate the corresponding code, saving space for binary distributions.
gstdint.h installs a header file, "gstdint.h", that will "#include" the "stdint.h" or "inttypes.h" header file of the local system - if one of these exists. Otherwise the bitsizes of basic types are detected for the local libc/compiler pair, and the C96 inttypes typedefs are generated into "gstdint.h".
Makescan generates a complete Makefile, parsing source files and headers. It does simple deductions on source file names to be included in the build list, resolves header dependencies, and allows the user to fine-tune several Makefile flags. It is useful for fast generation/updating of Makefiles in small and not-so-small C/C++ projects, and works with the GNU make processor.
