RPSL (Rapid Prototyping Shared Library) is a set of bash scripts and utility files that coordinate the GNU autotools and pkg-config for C/C++ build automation. The scripts and procedures define a system for building and linking that supports an individual or small group. A single command (rpslSyncBuild) scans for source, writes a Makefile.am and Configure.ac, and produces a conventional autotools tree ready for the usual "configure, make, make install" build steps.
maven-javanet-plugin is built on top of the java.net tasks library and provides a set of goals to assist projects hosted on java.net, such as deploying a Maven-generated Web site to java.net, uploading the distribution files to java.net, and hosting the artifacts in the java.net Maven repository.
FireAnt is an Eclipse plugin for modeling complex remote deployment and configuration processes for EJBs. It allows developers to model the deployment and execution of groups of packages and configuration scripts on remote targets. After modeling a deployment plan, FireAnt's runtime infrastructure SSHs into each target, copies over the specified files, deploys the EJBs and Webapps, runs any required deployment scripts, and then cleans the staging environment.
Auto-recompile is a small emacs add-on that allows you to fix compilation errors faster. It does this by continuously compiling the program you are working on while you are fixing problems. It eliminates the need to explicitly start a compilation for every fix you make, and manages your compilations and error lists in the background so that all you have to do is go from error to error and fix them until the program compiles.
JGlade is a reimplementation of libglade in pure Java, enabling Glade UI designs to be ported to platform independent toolkits, such as SWT and Eclipse. Toolkits are managed through an Abstract factory, and pluggable modules supporting other toolkits can be implemented. The Glade UI designer produces an XML file describing the interface in GTK+ terms. This file is parsed by JGlade and a new SWT interface is constructed, making the necessary conversion from GTK+ to SWT or another toolkit.
GBAconv is a set of tools aimed at GameBoy Advance developers, allowing them to convert WAV sounds and PCX images into C arrays to be included in GBA programs. It is composed of two programs: pcx2gba (exports a PCX 8-bpp image to 16-bit values C arrays: palette and image data (2 pixels per value)) and wav2gba (exports a WAV 8-bit mono sound to an 8-bit signed values array).
TrMake ("transparent make") is a modularized makefile system designed for multi-platform C++ development in Unix environments with GNU make. Its main features are: fast deployment by copying the mk directory to where the sources directory is and possibly adjust the sample makefile variables, transparent handling of dependencies and generated sources of multiple projects, operating system, compiler, and architecture configuration with debugging and profiling levels, and much more.
kdesvn-build is a script to automate the process of downloading, building, and installing KDE from its Subversion source repository. It supports many advanced features such as partial checkout/build of a module, the unsermake build system, incremental make, module checkouts using Subversion snapshots from the kdesvn-build.kde.org site, and repeatable builds. Many options are available, and they apply to every module by default, but most options can be overridden on a module-by-module basis. Every command it executes is logged.
